Tokyo, Japan, March 16, 2015 --- DAIICHI FINE CHEMICAL CO., LTD. (President: Etsuo Ohshima, "DAIICHI FINE CHEMICAL"), a subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko Bio Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Shuichi Ishino), will change its company name (trade name) to Kyowa Pharma Chemical Co., Ltd. Effective from October 1, 2015.
The reason for the company name change is to bring imaged business and company business close from the company name and to clarify the responsibilities of a member of the Kyowa Hakko Kirin group in order to enlarge its business among pharmaceutical field.
